Sam Beibers
Sam grew up between the small towns of Walls and Horn Lake (Mississippi). He received a BFA in commercial art in 1980 with a minor in painting, in 1992, he received an MA from Mississippi College in Clinton with a concentration on painting.
For the last 13 years, he has worked as a freelance illustrator, painter, and designer for such clients as Mississippi Magazine, and Coca Cola. The Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks commisionied him to paint images of endangered species for licence plates to raise funds to preserve wildlife.
Sam was hired during the development of the new Museum of Natural Science in Jackson to provide art of all kinds for the new complex.
